Travel season and the location trail
July 2026 · 5 min read
An itinerary is rarely disclosed by one dramatic mistake. It emerges from a flight-tracking page, a photograph posted in real time, a shared calendar and a driver’s message that names the next stop. Before travelling, decide who may see the itinerary, turn off unnecessary location sharing and ask staff to delay public updates until the family has moved on. Review tracking and booking accounts for old users and public profiles. Privacy is easier when the default is quiet and exceptions are deliberate.
